Call for Nominations: 2010 Ann Webster Smith Award for International Heritage Achievement
The work and achievements of Ann Webster Smith as a champion in building a global culture of protection for the cultural heritage of the entire world were prolific and varied. For three decades Ms Smith was at the very core of the dreamers and doers who nurtured ICOMOS to its maturity, personifying a spirit of cooperation and teamwork.
Call for Nominations: US/ICOMOS Board Members
The Nominating Committee of the US/ICOMOS Board of Trustees is hereby soliciting nominations of members to stand for election to fill up to five vacancies that will exist on the Board of Trustees. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are truly passionate about international cooperation in heritage conservation to make a difference.
Elections will be held at the annual meeting May 20, 2010, to be held in conjunction with the 13th US/ICOMOS International Symposium in Washington, DC (May 20-22, 2010).
Earthquake in Haiti - Letter from ICOMOS President
The horrifying news about the earthquake in from Haiti give all indications of major devastation and loss. Once the immediate human relief effort is over, I call on all ICOMOS to come together in solidarity to help in whatever way we can with the heritage recovery process.
