The US/ICOMOS President’s Fund was set up to support the travel and outreach of Gustavo F. Araoz, Jr., F.US/ICOMOS during his third term as President of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), and his contributions to the enhancement of US participation in global heritage preservation. As the first American to hold this position, he stands at the forefront of fostering a shared vision of international cooperation and an atmosphere of openness in the preservation of cultural resources.
To seed the President’s Fund the US/ICOMOS Board of Trustees is contributing $5,000. You can sustain the global work of ICOMOS that is vitally important to our broad community of those committed to preserve and conserve cultural assets for future generations by supporting the President’s Fund.
