"For three months I had the opportunity to visit some of the country's best libraries and archives. I feel very honored to have been part of this program.'"
At Tyntesfield, Emma Colon conducted research on the history and work of the architect of Tyntesfield, John Norton (1823-1904). Through a partnership between The National Trust and the University of Bristol, Emma was granted the title of Visiting Fellow, guaranteeing an exchange of resources and information between the two institutions. She compiled a comprehensive list of the architect's known works and a selection of these were analyzed and compared to Tyntesfield. She then produced a final reporrt with a compilation of images and journal articles concerning Norton. During her internship, Emma had the opportunity to meet with Prince Charles during his tour of the estate.
