Daniella worked on numerous projects throughout her internship with fellow intern, Beatrice Messeri. She participated in the window/door survey for the Leet Oliver Memorial at Yale University, conducted research and made assessment drawings of the Rose Alumni House, and contributed to detailed plans, sections, and elevations of the Payne Whitney Gymnasium. Her project supervisors were so pleased with her work, Daniella was asked to extend her internship for an additional three months. Thanks to the staff of the Smithsonian Institution’s Office of International Affairs, Daniella was able to extend her visa while in Washington for the final program, then returned to Philadelphia to continue her internship.
